Research and Development

IMG_5213RetouchedValvTechnologies’ Research and Development facility is located at the Railhead facility and includes over 10,000 sq/ft of dedicated space. The facility is equipped with the latest equipment resources available, including finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). In addition, capabilities include running high cycle valve tests at ambient and high temperatures and the ability to collect real-time test data utilizing the latest LabView software.

  • Omega socket reaction torque sensor TQ103 series
  • Welding machine – Miller AC/DSC gas Tungsten Arc Welder
  • Noshok – pressure transducer (0 – 20000)
  • 4 Omega pressure transmitters (0 – 3000psi)

  • Nitrogen -12 pack manifold system
  • Manning high temperature heating unit

  • 350 hp electric motor with high capacity double suction pump

  • Fully automated with upstream and downstream throttling/conditioning valves, two main pump bypass valves for quick and accurate flow metering

  • Complete data collection from flow meters/pressure transducers, and valve position feedback and control
  • Remote pump start and overload protection
